Haulotte China and IPAF had a long online conversation about MEWP safety. As hazard factors are not predictive, there is always a risk of accidents, especially when using aerial work platforms. To ensure the safety of operators, Haulotte is doing its utmost to teach users on the safer use of its machines and is working closely with IPAF.
Everyone is responsible for the safest use of equipment
June 2022 was IPAF’s 21st annual ‘Safety Month’. This year’s theme was «Comply with the law on work safety and be the main and responsible actor». On June 15, Haulotte China and IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) jointly organized a unique online meeting on MEWP safety.
The meeting was attended by IPAF China representative, Mr. Bai RI, Haulotte China engineer and IPAF chief trainer, Eric Li, and Haulotte China marketing manager, Tim Mo. Passionate conversations took place around topics such as «safety training in the MEWP industry».
Haulotte and IPAF were able to discuss their vision for a safer future and the actions that need to be taken to raise safety awareness among all stakeholders including:
- Launch the monthly topic of safety through WECHAT platform and jointly send posters of safety topics to Haulotte’s customers with IPAF
- Raise awareness of IPAF training, improve customer safety awareness, and provide customers with safety training on MEWPs.
