Refurbishment solutions offer the machines a second life!
This month, Haulotte UK delivered two refurbished machines for Scottish rental company Access Platforms Aberdeen Limited. Major mechanical parts (baskets control boxes, slew ring, cylinders, stub pins, pivot pins, wheels, wiring looms and many others) have been replaced to improve the performance of the mobile elevating platforms.
Visible parts have been replaced or refurbished for an enhanced cosmetic appearance and future reliability. Haulotte technicians also upgraded the HA20PX with secondary guarding, the Haulotte Activ’Shield Bar for optimal safety and operator protection.
«Refurbishment usually involves machines that have been operated for more than 10 years and between 3000 and 4000 hours. We expect this activity to grow in the coming years, it is a smart way to improve the equipment reliability and appearance» said Natalie Reynolds, General Manager at Haulotte United Kingdom.
